Custom Photography Services: Print, frame and restore

Ellie the pup is about to catch up with her aunt Gracie in this late fall romp by the two golden retrievers.

Printing: Make memories on paper

Printing is the heart of our Custom Photography Services.

With the thousands of photos on our phones, we sometimes lose sight of the joy that one, perfect photo can bring hanging in a place of prominence. Maybe it’s a family portrait perfectly hung in the background for Zoom calls. Or, what about your furry friend hanging on the wall near the front door to greet guests?

So why print with us?

The photo of this family with three children came at the perfect time with fall colors
  • Attention to Detail. We sweat the details. We make sure what came out of the camera is what comes out of the printer. They don’t always play well together.
  • Quality. We utilize the latest Canon printing technology and supplies. You will be proud to display these prints in your home or office..
  • Service. We thrive on making you happy. Is that what the 21-year-old in the pharmacy print department does?

Our standard print sizes are below. We can do custom sizes as well.

All print sizes below work with standard frames purchased at retail. Prints are on semi-gloss paper. However, we can print on other types of paper, but pricing may change. Prices are for one print unless otherwise noted:

  • 5″ x 7″ – $7.25 ($6.00 each for 5 or more)

Framing: It’s all about “wow”

We have one goal for framing: “Wow” is your first reaction.

Here’s how we think: If the subject is the hero of printing, then the photo is the hero of framing.

There are subtle components of framing that even framing companies don’t know. For example, we always add about 25% more to the bottom of a mat in a framed photo. Why? Research finds that the human eye sees an optical illusion when the mat size is the same on all four sides. In effect, our eyes are tricked into thinking the photo is actually off center… too low in the frame. So, if you think a three-inch mat is the right size, we will recommend four inches on the bottom.

We obsess over the little things, like recommending museum-grade glass to block damaging UV rays.

We charge only for the time spent on the framing project. For example, a typical project takes one to two hours. We will provide an estimate if required.

This side by side of an old photo from the early 1980s and its repaired version in 2025 are very different. Technology today is amazing to fix photos.

Repair and Restore: Small quantities, high quality

Do any of these situations sound familiar?

  • Old photographs stored in albums or boxes that are showing their age.
  • Damaged photos like the one to the right that look like lost causes.
  • Electronic photo files that need a little TLC (no doubt, the photo on the left needs TLC on steroids! And we did it!).

Our services are designed for small quantities; for those most important photos you want preserved for a lifetime. We sweat the details, which takes time. We aren’t trying to compete with the companies that can “fix” large numbers of photos at once.

For printed photos we will scan them to create electronic files. For electronic files (like those from your phone), we convert them to a format better suited for editing. In both cases, we will use professional-level editing software to bring your photos back to life.

Like our framing services, we only charge for our time. We will provide an estimate for repair and recovery projects.
