Our long-time friends near Edwardsville, Illinois recently adopted two amazing Weimaraner puppies, Skye and Luna. And they asked me to take the first Weimaraner photos. As you can see they are a rowdy bunch, but a joy to be around. And so athletic.
Skye and Luna have certainly shown us how energetic and joyful Weimaraners can be. With their sleek, silvery-gray coats and those stunning amber eyes, they are the perfect models for capturing the breed’s beauty. As a Weimaraner photographer in St. Louis, these beautiful dogs offer a dynamic range of photo opportunities. We love seeing them running in an open field. But they are equally as intriguing simply cuddling with their human mom and dad,
For Weimaraner owners, a professional photoshoot isn’t just about getting a nice picture of your dog. It’s about capturing their playful personality and the grace with which they move. Oh, and did we mention those eyes! Their energetic and friendly nature makes them fantastic subjects for outdoor photoshoots where they can express themselves freely.
Let’s work together to immortalize your dog’s spirited nature in stunning photographs. How about a memorable photoshoot that truly reflects who they are?”

The ‘Gray Ghost’ is both pet and hunter
Here’s what the American Kennel Club says about the Weimaraner:
“The Weimaraner, known as the Gray Ghost, is beloved by hunters and pet owners. They are friendly, obedient and beautiful. They enjoy exercise, and plenty of it, along with lots of quality time with their humans. Recognized by a distinctive silvery-gray coat, a male Weimaraner stands 25 to 27 inches at the shoulder, and females 23 to 25 inches. A properly bred Weimaraner will be solid colored, with maybe a small white spot on the chest. The face, with its amber or blue-gray eyes framed by long velvety ears, is amiable and intelligent.
“Overall, the breed presents a picture of streamlined grace and balance. A well-conditioned Weimaraner on point is a breathtaking sight. Weimaraners are excellent with kids and yearn to be full-fledged family members. Pet owners must commit to keeping them physically active and mentally engaged.”
