Creve Coeur is one of the greenest, most dog-friendly areas in West County — and that makes it a beautiful place for outdoor pet and family photography.
With wide open spaces, quiet trails, and one of the best lakeside parks in the region, dogs here have room to relax, explore, and show their true personality in front of the camera.
Whether your dog loves to run, sniff along the trails, or stay close by your side, Creve Coeur gives us the light, space, and scenery to capture them naturally.

Why Creve Coeur families choose us
We specialize in families who include their pets as part of their story.
With decades of experience photographing animals — from wildlife and birds to dogs and horses — we understand movement, timing, and emotion in a way few photographers do. That experience keeps sessions calm, safe, and natural for both kids and pets.
The result isn’t stiff poses. It’s real moments that feel like your family.

Best dog-friendly photo locations in and around Creve Coeur
There are a lot of quiet spaces in Creve Coeur where we can photograph your fur baby:
Beirne Park. A lesser-known gem right in the heart of Creve Coeur. It features wide-open grassy areas and a small wooded loop. It is great for dogs who don’t love busy parks. The variety of textures—from tree cover to fence lines—gives us visual interest without distraction.
LaVerne Collins Park. A peaceful neighborhood park with lots of shade, tree-lined walking paths, and a tucked-away feel. It’s especially great for more relaxed dogs or for sessions focused on subtle, intimate portraits.
Creve Coeur Neighborhoods. This area is full of beautiful yards and mature trees. If your dog is most comfortable near home, we can build a session that feels familiar and comfortable, while still creating polished, frame-worthy images.

Gracie’s Corner: Lots of green to go around in Creve Coeur
By Gracie Ann Gurley, Chief Brand Ambassador and Goose Negotiator
1. Beirne Park is my idea of peaceful. It’s a two-fer for me. Big enough to feel free but small enough that I don’t lose my daddy. There’s plenty to sniff, and I can roll in the grass without someone jogging past every 10 seconds.
2. The trees make great shade—and even better smells. At last count I smelled 932 unidentified things around trees . Yes, I can count! Duh. I’ve also found at least 200 sticks I could have either 1) eaten or 2) taken home… if someone hadn’t stopped me. I love you, daddy!!
3. It’s a backyard kind of place. Creve Coeur feels grown-up, in a human kind of way. It’s perfect for dogs like me who have trouble sharing. I want my space and this part of town is awesome for that.

Frequently Asked Questions-FAQs (Creve Coeur)

Do you only photograph in Creve Coeur?
No. We provide pet photography sessions throughout St. Louis (Missouri and Illinois) and St. Charles and its surrounding areas. We are happy to accommodate your preferred setting.
What if my dog can’t be off-leash during the session?
Safety for your best friend is our top priority. It’s common for most public parks to require your beloved pets to be on-leash. Here’s great news: our sophisticated photo editing software can, in most cases, remove leashes and collars. Easy peasy.
Can we do the session at our home in Creve Coeur?
Yes. It is especially beneficial for dogs who are a little shy or do best in familiar surroundings.
Can we include family members in the shoot?
Of course. Be aware some photographers charge more to add family members. Get mroe details here: Family and Pet Portrait Package
What if my dog is shy or high energy around other dogs or people?
We understand that every dog has a unique temperament. For example, for more reserved or reactive dogs, we recommend quieter locations like Beirne Park. We can find secluded spots to ensure a comfortable environment for your pet.
Is your golden retriever Gracie really an employee?
Great question. Yes! Wheels don’t turn at Outdoor Pet Photography Services without Gracie having a paw on it. Don’t tell anyone but it’s possible we have skirted a few child labor laws (Gracie just turned four!). We have our legal department running this down.
