Top dog-friendly photo spots in Ellisville
Ellisville boasts so many great spots.
Bluebird Park. The most recognizable park in Ellisville, and for good reason. For example, it has wide open fields, wooded paths, a scenic overlook, and just the right amount of foot traffic. Great for everything from sit-and-smile portraits to mid-run action shots. Plus, the light here in late afternoon is often just about perfect.
Cardinal Park. This smaller park is a great option for dogs who do better in quieter environments. For example, there’s a trail loop, a bit of shade, and enough room for a laid-back session. The dog can just be itself without the distractions of a bigger park.
Neighborhood Trails and Greenspaces. Ellisville is full of winding sidewalks and peaceful settings between homes and trails. Additionally, if your dog feels most confident on familiar ground, we can work right in your neighborhood.

Gracie’s Corner: Great spots abound in and around Ellisville

By Gracie Ann Gurley, Chief Brand Ambassador and Stick Evaluator (and cool as a cucumber)
1. Bluebird Park is where I let my ears fly. It’s got the kind of space where I can build up some real speed. I run. I leap. I occasionally ignore direction. But the photos? Those turn out great, wind in the fur and everything.
2. Cardinal Park is perfect for dogs who like their space. I know not every pup wants an audience while they’re being photographed. This park is calmer, cozier, and still smells fantastic. 10/10… would sniff again.
3. The sidewalks here feel like story routes. Ellisville has those neighborhoods where the light is soft, the trees are old, and every turn smells like something new. I feel chill here. That’s when the best moments happen—when I forget the camera’s even there.

Frequently Asked Questions-FAQs (Ellisville)

Do you only photograph in Ellisville?
No. We provide pet photography sessions throughout the St. Louis (Missouri and Illinois) market and St. Charles county and its surrounding areas. We are happy to accommodate your preferred setting.
What if my dog isn’t leash-trained or doesn’t do well in public parks?
That’s totally fine. Many sessions happen right in a neighborhood or backyard. As long as we have some space and light, we’ll make it work beautifully. We are sure your dog will feel at ease the whole time.
What if my dog can’t be off-leash during the session?
Safety for your best friend is our top priority. It’s common for most public parks to require your beloved pets to be on-leash. Here’s great news: our sophisticated photo editing software can, in most cases, remove leashes and collars.
Can we do the session at our home in Ellisville?
Yes. It is especially beneficial for dogs who are a little shy or do best in familiar surroundings.
Can we include family members in the shoot?
Of course. Be aware some photographers charge more to add family members and pets. But not us. See more details about our Family and Pet Portrait Package.
What if my dog is shy or high energy around other dogs or people?
We understand that every dog has a unique temperament. We can find secluded spots to ensure a comfortable environment for your pet.
